Bondage tape is very easy to use. There's not much to say when you want to learn how to use bondage tape. That said, there are still a few things that might be useful to know...
Do not wrap the bondage tape too tightly
When you are winding the tape, do not stretch it. You want it to be comfortable but not stretched out. If you stretch it, when you release it, the tape will “shrink” to its unstretched size and the restriction will be tighter than you intended. This can also stretch and pull the skin in a very uncomfortable way.
Keep scissors close by
Keep safety scissors nearby to cut your partner's tape in an emergency. Most of the time, you should be able to unwind the bondage tape easily enough that scissors aren't needed. It is always better to be safe than sorry! The more elaborate the restriction section, the more reason to keep security scissors around.
Watch out for the heat
As bondage tape is not breathable, you should not keep your partner in the bondage tape for a long time. Especially if it's a full body wrap, the tape can trap body heat, making you surprisingly warm very quickly. Turn on the air conditioning, use a fan, or just take your partner off the tape if they start to feel hot. If trying to cool it down doesn't do the trick, start unwrapping the tape and get it out of the tape cocoon as soon as possible.
Know your limitations
As bondage tape has a larger surface area, it is safer to use if you have reasons that prevent you from using bondage rope. However, always know your limitations and never go beyond them. Make sure you can easily remove your partner from the tape as well.
Never, ever suspend
Unless you are an expert with thousands of hours of suspension experience and lots of people there to help your partner, bondage tape should never be used for bondage suspensions. It was never designed for weight bearing purposes.
Fluids
Like any other activity that can get you hot or sweaty, rehydrating your body is a great idea. Depending on your use of the tape, hydrating beforehand can lead to problems with needing to pee, which may or may not be part of your fun.
Pay attention to movement
This bondage tape makes the user sweaty, it also doesn't stick to the skin and to top it off, this bondage tape can also move if a person squirms. This means you need to constantly check to make sure your partner and tape are exactly where you placed them. Bondage tape can be much tighter or looser than intended if the partner moves, especially in sensitive areas or the neck, this can be painful and dangerous. So check your tape regularly.
